Hot Topic is at it, so is Nordstrom and now Kohl’s is too. The US department store has jumped aboard the Twilight bandwagon, playing up the connection between their fashions and those seen onscreen in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Unlike the other two shops, there’s no official link between Kohl’s and The Twilight Saga, but that isn’t stopping them as they try to appeal to us Twifans, angling to become a shopping destination to create Twilight-inspired looks.

The retailer’s press release reads: “No matter if shoppers are an Edward [Robert Pattinson], Bella [Kristen Stewart], Jacob [Taylor Lautner] or Alice [Ashley Greene] fan, Kohl’s offers a mix of timeless pieces and of-the-moment trends at a great value to master the looks.”

To help build these film-inspired wardrobes, Kohl’s points to its Speechless Flocked Paisley Dress ($78 reduced to $46.80), which with its dark green and black colouring and smart, party look is akin to Bella’s birthday party dress (of which Hot Topic offer a licensed replica, see Related Content). And also flashing a Twilight vibe is their Mudd Faded Skinny Jeans which sell for only $17.99, reduced from $29.99 (much like Bella’s J Brand and Lucky Brand ones, also right), while the Craft & Barrow Chenille Scarf (available at the half its original price at $14) is a good fit for Alice, especially as she seems to favour this accessory in New Moon.

Again, it’s just another example of the huge pulling power of The Twilight Saga and the way this world of Stephenie Meyer’s is influencing pop culture and shopping options.
