Possibly the most famous of all movie fashion icons, waifish Audrey Hepburn's turn as Holly Golightly was almost as influential as Coco Chanel herself in launching the Little Black Dress. Supplied by Givenchy to accompany the lashings of Tiffany's jewellery, this LBD, or column dress to give it the proper title, has adorned the walls of students and stylisticos alike since its arrival back in 1961. Unsurprisingly, Hepburn was something of a muse for Givenchy, and wore the designer's outfits in many of her films and throughout her life.
