Name: Sarah Clarke

Biography: The acting bug first bit Sarah Clarke during her senior year abroad in Bologna, Italy whilst studying Fine Arts and Italian. After returning to the US and taking further studies in architectural photography, she swapped her photography skills for free acting lessons and she hasn’t looked back since. Her break came in the form of an award-winning commercial for Volkswagen (1999) followed by a series of minor television and film roles – her best known role being Nina Myers in hit television series 24 (2001 – 04) where she clocked up an impressive 36 episodes. Since starring as Bella Swan’s mother, Renée Dwyer in the 2008 film Twilight, Clarke has played the leading role as Erin McGuire on T.V. show, Trust Me (2009) and will once again star as the mother of the clumsy, vampire-loving teenager in Eclipse (2010), the third movie in the Twilight series.
