Biography: Not many young actresses find fame starring in a film they co-wrote, but that's Nikki Reed's story. With Catherine Hardwicke, the director of Twilight, the young teen penned the screenplay for the semi-autobiographical drama Thirteen and when casting agents found it difficult to cast the part of tearaway Evie, Nikki stepped up. The film, which co-starred Evan Rachel Wood became a critical success and helped Nikki to score a number of impressive industry award nominations. She followed this up by playing other bad girls in The O.C. and 2005's Lords of Dogtown before being cast as vampire beauty, Rosalie in The Twilight Series. She'll reunite with her Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart for drama K-11 due out in 2010.
