Biography: Before landing the part of Esme, the caring matriarch of the Cullen family in the Twilight movies, Elizabeth Reaser was best known for playing the unidentified Jane Doe (aka Ava aka Rebecca Pope) in medical drama series, Grey's Anatomy and scored an Emmy nomination for the part in 2007. A graduate of the prestigious Julliard School of Drama, the Michigan-born actress also starred as Susannah, one of the four siblings in 2005 Christmas drama The Family Stone and in the same year was the lead in period romance Sweet Land for which she won the Jury Best Actress Award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. She has also worked in TV and on the stage.
