Name: Xavier Samuel

Biography: Australian actor Xavier Samuel first stepped onto the stage while at secondary school in Adelaide, before progressing to Flinders University Drama Centre where he trod the boards as Shakespeare's Hamlet during his graduate production. He balanced study with appearances in TV shows such as McLeod's Daughters (2003), films like Newcastle (2008) and plays like 2 Weeks with the Queen (2006) and also found time to perform with his band, Hyatus. He plays the vampire Riley in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
