Name: Peter Facinelli

Biography: Italian-American Peter Facinelli grew up in Queens, New York and when bitten by the acting bug studied his craft at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School under such teachers as Hollywood stars William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman. He made his film debut in 1995's Angela and went on to work solidly in TV and films with big screen highlights including Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) and The Scorpion King (2002). He nabbed the main part in short-lived Fox crime drama Fastlane (2002/03) and continued to be cast in strong supporting roles in acclaimed shows such as Six Feet Under and Damages before securing the role of Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight movies. He can also be seen in dark comedy Nurse Jackie.
