Star Trek – Live the Movie

We’ve covered some disparate films in our ‘Live the Movie’ series, from comedies to tender romances, Christmas classics to action adventures but this time we’re boldly going where no ‘Live the Movie’ feature has gone before – into sci-fi territory. Star Trek might seem like a strange addition to our canon as on the surface many of the blockbuster’s moments are far from easily replicated (fighting strange animals on an ice planet, conversing with a future version of yourself, Vulcan mind melds etc., etc.), yet here at Boxwish we love a challenge and Star Trek is certainly that.

However, look a little closer at J.J. Abrams’s reboot of the long-running sci-fi franchise and there are pockets of action that can be integrated into our lives. These range from purely enjoyable activities to those that require a bit more commitment, but all are great fun for the Star Trek enthusiast. So whether you’re new to the USS Enterprise or a trekker through and through, we present five ways to bring the space age magic of Star Trek into your day.
