Get Holly Golightly's look from Breakfast at Tiffany's

Emerging from her Manhattan apartment, Holly Golightly asks her neighbour, Paul “Fred ” Varjak how she looks. “Very good, I must say,” affirms the struggling writer, adding: “I’m amazed.” If so, he’s the only one. After the opening shot of her drinking coffee and munching on a Danish pastry outside of Tiffany’s on Fifth Avenue, we the audience know that we’re in the presence of a style queen.
This is the Audrey Hepburn that managed to look good in white socks in Funny Face and a wimple in The Nun’s Story. The Audrey Hepburn that sparkled onscreen whether dressed in girl-next-door simplicity or royal opulence. The Audrey Hepburn that charmed the movie-going public with her winsome innocence and feminine elegance. There was no doubt – Audrey was already a fashion icon when cast in the 1961 film, her films a veritable catwalk for her latest ensembles. But it was to be Breakfast at Tiffany’s that cemented her status as Hollywood’s most chic leading lady.
