Just think, this time next week, you could have already seen The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Midnight screenings of the second helping of the Stephenie Meyer romance, fantasy and adventure are everywhere (and selling out fast – so be quick!) meaning that only seven short days separate you from Edward (Robert Pattinson), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). And while this trio of stars trek the globe drumming up publicity for the film’s imminent release (as they don’t have much of a media profile, right?), surely clocking up simply oodles of air miles, you too can get in jet-setter mode with a new competition that offers you the chance to visit the Italian locations from the movie. This fantastic competition comes courtesy of established Twilight champions, Hot Topic and is cunningly titled ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon Passport to Italy’. And unlike many competitions fashioned around The Twilight Saga, this one is really for the truly devoted Twifan, involving a little more skill and engagement than just typing in your name and hitting submit.

Okay, so what are we talking here? Very simply it’s all about using your Hot Topic account (talk about a clever incentive to sign up) and completing challenges that see you entering codes and collecting passport stamps, which once all collected then put you in the sweepstake for the grand prize. Every day a new clue will be unveiled, the first code, “The Journey Begins” is already offered and after that two further clues, “The Strength of One” and “Movie Night” have been posted, each one encouraging you to hunt out a Twilight-themed answer and then return to Hot Topic to submit it.
