Win a dinner date with Brit hunk, Gerard Butler
Posted by Team Boxwish about 1 month ago
It’s just seven days to go until Valentine’s Day otherwise known as the most romantic or the most depressing, cynical and expensive day of the year depending on your outlook. And if you have no-one to canoodle with, or rather are looking to make an upgrade on your current partner, we have just the thing – the chance to win a date with Gerard Butler. Not too shabby we’re sure you’ll agree and maybe, just maybe, if you ask very nicely, he’ll turn up in his skimpy 300 costume. Worth a shot, eh?
Simply make a minimal donation of $20 to Kids Kicking Cancer (KKC), a charity very closely supported by the Scottish star and your name will be thrown into the hat to spend a solitary evening alone with King Leonidas. As cunningly punned in the name, the organisation encourages kids to use breathing and meditation skills learned through martial arts to help get them through the trauma and pain of the disease. It’s said to be Gerard’s number one charitable cause and happy to utilise his popularity, he’s kindly offering up this tantalising treat to get people contributing.
The date is the numero uno prize, to be held in either Los Angeles or New York sometime this year. This is only open to entrants aged 18-years and older, yet despite being based in the US, those from further afield can enter, they just won’t get their travel expenses paid unlike those in the continental US. The second prize is also pretty exciting, especially for those of us with a passion for movies as it’s the chance to visit Gerard on one of his movie sets. Three of these were on offer, one has been snapped up already, but there are still two more up for grabs so get in there!
The remaining prizes have also similarly been awarded, but it’s the main one that we’re excited about and this remains open until Saturday 13th February. So if you’re keen to spend the evening with Hollywood’s most popular British actor (see Related Content, right) and help support a fantastic cause, head to KKC’s Network for Good to make your donation here.
All the best!
