Twilight make-up range launches today

You might remember back in June we told you about a range of make-up products inspired by Twilight in our blog. Well the wait is finally over and the range launches today! Products are available to order online and each one has an availability date so you know when you’ll receive it. There are two separate lines aptly named Luna Twilight and Volturi Twilight so you can choose the look you’d rather sport. The creators say: “The goal for Twilight Beauty was to create two beautiful and striking lines that women could fall in love with, much in the same way they fell in love with the Twilight saga.”

Luna Twilight is a range inspired by the love and spirit of the Stephenie Meyer books and movie adaptations. “Gold shining through the translucent black represents the light coming through the darkness, the power of Edward’s love for Bella despite the obstacles that stand between them.” For eyes there’s Gleam Metallic mascara available in panther, lapis and mist, and Moonshadows eye shadow which is a powder and a cream in two complimentary shades. Femme Fatale lip gloss comes in cleverly named colours including ‘53 Chevy, Surrender, Myth, Drizzle and Vapour. For faces there’s Mortal Glow blushing crème in Adrenaline or Swoon and full colour palettes are available in colour combinations Bella, Victoria, Rosalie and Alice. The creators are keen to remind us that “every aspect of Luna Twilight embodies the beauty of this truly timeless tale.”

The Volturi range is inspired by the power and undying beauty held by the royal bloodsuckers. As well as featuring the Volturi crest “the line has a sharp clear prismatic quality halved with a solid timeless black, symbolizing the never ending struggle between good and evil, right and wrong, love and lust.” Available in this range is Crown Metallic mascara and Labyrinth loose eye shadow in shades named Love, Myth, Beloved, Dusk, Dawn and Legend. Enrapture lip gloss comes in the dark shimmery Arsenic and bright pink Obsess. For body there’s Immortal liquid body shimmer for that vampire in the sunlight look, in Black Magic or Tainted Love, and Reign scented body mist. These come in scents such as Forbidden Fruit which is woodsy, fresh and fruity and Bella which is a warm delicate vanilla aroma, as well as the cinnamon Wicked and floral Romance.

As well as all these amazing products is a lip plumping stain available in both the Luna and Volturi ranges. Twilight Venom is a red lip stain suspended in a conditioner and must be “shaken before use to represent the blending of the human and vampire worlds.” The creators want this range to go beyond just Twilight fans, but with the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon coming up we think Twifans will be most interested in obtaining their favourite characters look. Whether you want to shimmer like Edward (Robert Pattinson), blush like Bella (Kristen Stewart) or smoulder like Jane (Dakota Fanning) there’s a product for you. We’re just waiting for the Jacob (Taylor Lautner) range of hair removal creams now!
