Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda join Carrie in Sex and the City 2 filming

Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) has yet another 80s wardrobe, this time channelling pop star Madonna with black lace leggings and a lilac basque over a tutu. Prim Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is the least shocking, sporting a country club look complete with a green sweater tied around her shoulders. Sexy Samantha (Kim Cattrall) goes for the punk look with huge hair, snakeskin leggings, fluorescent leopard print top and a studded denim vest. But perhaps the funniest was Miranda’s (Cynthia Nixon) drab power suit worn with white trainers and socks, big gold earrings and a lovely bowl cut hairdo.

Later the ladies were seen returning to their stylish selves as if by magic or perhaps a little help from that wondrous costume designer Patricia Field. Carrie was back in that Halston dress while Charlotte was wearing a fuchsia skirt suit and Miranda a very complimentary gold dress. Samantha was pictured filming a similar scene to one from her eighties days in a sexy little black dress. Sex and the City 2 is due for release in May 2010 and rumours are flying after Kim Cattrall was photographed holding a page from her script, showing snippets of the text. See all the pictures here.
