Fancy grabbing a bite to eat with Twilight’s Kellan Lutz (aka Emmett Cullen)? A voice message from Elizabeth Banks or a walk-on role in 90210? These swanky showbiz goodies and others are up for auction as part of this year’s Variety’s Power of Youth event, a fund-raising shindig organised annually by the entertainment industry bible. The cause aims to enlist the young talent of Tinseltown and encourage them to use their celebrity and star wattage for good causes and includes among its supporters Miley Cyrus, Dakota Fanning and the Jonas Brothers. And to help raise money in this, its third year, it is offering a number of glamorous goodies that are open to the highest bidder on eBay.

As well as the aforementioned items, there is also signed memorabilia (New Moon posters bearing the cast’s scribbles), attendance at the likes of the So You Think You Can Dance? finale and even swanky holidays like five nights in Maui.

The cause, which has raised over $1 million in the past, will also be celebrated with an event to be held on the Paramount lot tomorrow, attended by star names and beneficiaries of the cause’s two chosen charities: Starlight Children’s Foundation and LA’s Best. So here’s hoping people dig deep in their pockets as it’s great to see young Hollywood doing their bit. Keep up the good work guys!
