Synopsis: Having survived James's violent attack at the climax of Twilight, Bella has settled into relationship bliss with Edward. Yet their fragile love is tested at her birthday party when her blood is shed causing Edward's brother, Jasper to give into his vampire instincts. The celebration soon becomes a disaster and realising that his presence puts Bella in jeopardy, Edward and his family pack up and leave Forks. Deserted and heartbroken, Bella turns to her childhood friend Jacob, whose energy and boyish optimism shine a ray of sunshine into her dark world, yet like Edward, he too has a supernatural secret that won't be contained for long.
