Mila Kunis burnt her The Book of Eli costume

This makes a change. In recent times, actors have been quite enthusiastic and complimentary about their onscreen wardrobes with Jude Law a lone voice in decrying his Dr Watson garb for Sherlock Holmes. But now the Brit star isn’t alone as Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress, Mila Kunis has also gone public with her dislike for her clothes in new post-apocalyptic actioner, The Book of Eli out at cinemas this weekend. The reason being that shopping trips are off the menu in this futuristic wasteland, leaving all the characters, from Denzel Washington’s lone hero, the titular Eli through to Gary Oldman’s villain, Carnegie stinking it up in just the one outfit. Pong!
The voice of Meg in cult cartoon, Family Guy, Mila hated her one solitary and stinky ensemble that she wears as Solara in the film that when shooting ended she staged a ceremonial burning. Talking to WENN, she revealed: “I kept none of my ensemble from the film. It was so dirty and filthy,” she explains. “In fact I burned it in effigy when we wrapped production."
Sounds like the best thing for it, especially since production for the movie took place under the baking sun of New Mexico, however it surely would have fetched a pretty penny if sold. Imagine how nuts fans would go for a sniff of Mila’s hooded plaid jacket, fleece body warmer and brown trousers all complete with authentic dirt and sweat?
